Review Policy
All reviews appearing on beingthelittlespoon.com will always be my genuine experiences and honest opinions.
I will always disclose to my readers when a product has been sent to me free of charge, if a post is sponsored, and if affiliate links have been used within a post.
I only accept products for review that I consider to be body-safe by my personal standards.
Being sent a product free of charge DOES NOT guarantee a positive review.
Extra products that are sent without prior explicit arrangement are NOT guaranteed a review.
I am not obligated to send a draft prior to publishing or edit out any negative feedback (unless factually incorrect) if requested.
I will not return any product (e.g. in the event of an unflattering review) unless it is faulty. In this instance I expect to be provided with a free returns label or reimbursed for any postage paid out of my own pocket.
Unless a product is of particular interest or your company is very new, I expect to have access to an affiliate programme offering a MINIMUM of 10% commission.
I allow approximately 4-6 weeks to test each product and publish my review. This can occasionally take longer owing to my health conditions, in which case I will email an updated timeframe. Please make it clear to me if you have a shorter deadline in mind before I agree to reviewing a product.
I guarantee at least 600 words per review – usually they end up much longer!
I take my own product photos – please let me know if you would prefer me to use your own at any point.
Each review will contain at least three outgoing “no-follow” links to your website.
In cases where I have been sent a product from a company in exchange for my review, I only ever link to the company’s website – NEVER to a competitor. If I have paid for a product myself, I will choose where to link at my own discretion.
