Uncover Creations Arbora Review

I’ve got something a bit different for you today….

Over the last two of years I’ve taken a deep dive into the colourful world of fantasy dildos – and loved every minute! After over a decade of reviewing/writing about sex toys in some capacity, it was definitely time to unleash my inner monster fucker!

As a result, one of my 2024 blogging goals was to introduce y’all to some quality dragon dong-smiths and I’m delighted to partner with Uncover Creations, a UK based custom fantasy sex toy maker, to bring you guys some reviews. They make all sorts of cool products, from grinders to penetrable toys for penises, but we’re talking dildos today!

All size, firmness and colour options add on a little extra cost wise. If you can’t decide on a colour, they offer “Surprise Me Basic” which is a single colour of their choice at no charge, or “Surprise Me Premium” which is a mixture of colours for an additional £8.00. There are also some additional add-ons include Vac-U-Lock holes, cum tubes and suction cups that may add to your experience too.

I find so many choices overwhelming, so I sent a shortlist of models in sizes and firmnesses that sounded about right and left the decision of which toys to send and what colours to pour up to them – and I’m obsessed with what I received. So without further ado!

Meet Abora the Alien

The Uncover Creations Abora in medium size is a BIG ol’ hunk of silicone! I carefully selected this size as I know that I am into that amount of girth (a chunky 7.5 inch circumference at the widest point), but I would probably have been perfectly happy with the small which has a respectable, filling maximum circumference of 6.3 inches. Even the extra small is above average in girth, so I suppose I should give a buyer beware warning – please agonise over the very clear and accurate measurements on the product page to avoid ending up with a toy you can’t use.

Also bear in mind that silicone is dense and bigger toys get heavy. The medium Arbora may be difficult to thrust yourself (I certainly struggle) and may be better suited to riding – or mounting on a fucking machine if you’re lucky enough to have one (hey, guess what I got for Christmas!). The Arbora has a really wide base and even in super soft firmness, mine is able to stand upright on its own. Uncover Creations produce a nifty suction cup mount compatible with flat bottomed toys that can strap on to stuff (think pillows, chairs, a partner’s thigh…) for more stability.

The medium Arbora‘s insertable length is again, just how I like it at 6.5 inches. I am using my Arbora exclusively vaginally and find this length is comfortably within my personal limits – I can happily take it down to the base. Something I noticed when browsing for a product to write about is a majority of Uncover Creations’ dildo catalogue, including the Arbora, have insertable lengths aren’t that crazy long compared to a lot of other indie toy makers, which makes them more accessible to people with vaginas as the full length is actually usable. This alone is something that will make me a repeat customer for sure!

I chose the super soft firmness and I’m very pleased with this decision. Which ever size you go for from small upwards, the Arbora is not only big, but also heavily textured. There is no surface area that is without a ripple, ridge or bump. I enjoy unusual textures on insertable toys because they’re interesting, and don’t feel anything like a human penis. However, I do not enjoy what I personally describe as the rough “cheese grater” sensation of firm, ridged silicone. The super soft firmness feels lovely and plush and can be compressed by the body when inserted making it a really comfy ride.

The Uncover Creations Arbora has a matte finish which makes it a bit of a lube guzzler! I use mine mounted to my faithful F-Machine Pro III which adds even more of a need for a deluge of lube. Uncover Creations confirm that they use platinum cured silicone and advertise their products as compatible with silicone lubricants, even stocking a couple of brands on their site. There is still controversy around using silicone toys with silicone lubes, but as UC explicitly state its okay with their products then go for it! If you’re still cautious (which is totally fair), then I suggest you go for a thick water-based lube or a body safe oil-based one for a bit of cushioning.

Lastly, just check out those colours! My Arbora fades from a very vibrant neon pink into a slightly pearlescent pinky purple. The fade is really smooth and even and you can tell it has been poured skilfully with care.

The takeaway

My first experience of Uncover Creations has been overwhelmingly positive. I’m really pleased with the quality of the silicone and the pour I received is beautiful. The Arbora is a stand out model in my collection and I’m strongly considering picking up another in small very soon!

If you’ve been inspired to grab your own, whichever size you go for, then I think either super soft or soft are the way to go given how much texture there is going on.

Pay attention to the size charts on the product page (especially if you’re new to fantasy toys which tend to be larger than average in general) – I found them to be really helpful and accurate and I’ve ended up with a product and size that I love.
